When Square Enix announced Final Fantasy X HD at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, it wasn’t clarified whether the game was a full-on remake, or a high-definition remaster.
Speaking at the Taipei Game Show, Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto cleared things up.
“The game is being developed like a high-definition remaster, but the visuals will look much better compared to the original,” he told Gamer.com.tw (http://gnn.gamer.com.tw/8/62178.html) (via FF Reunion (http://www.ff-reunion.net/ff/2012/02/05/sqex_news_662)). “Please look forward to it!”
That should well debunk this (http://gematsu.com/2011/09/rumor-final-fantasy-x-for-ps3-vita-a-remake), then.
Final Fantasy X HD will release for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
