[Release] MGSHD - Metal Gear Solid 2 HD - Modded Start Save

[Renegade]

After my computer being wiped and the amount of time it took to make these saves (Finally eh?) the deed is done. Now you guys can be rewarded for your patience.

Savegame Slot Time

00 - HARD Difficulty - Tanker (Snake) 0000:15:04 (Don't ask why the time's are so long...i was probably fappin' or omnomnoming)
01 - HARD Difficulty - Plant (Raiden) 0000:16:51


Developer Notes:

Renegade -

Tanker chapter contains Stealth, Infinite Rations, USP and M9 (All you need for this, if you can't beat that with those..you have an issue.)

Plant Chapter contains EVERYTHING - Starts out just before the Elevator comes down...don't try and wear any of the costumes or wigs before you
reach the top, otherwise it will freeze, and you will be all AHHH RENEGAY I HATE YEW GAY FAG!!!!!?

AND FOR CHRIST SAKE...DON'T TRY AND PUT THE BANDANA ON, IT'S THERE FOR THE LULZ (Thumbs up for the amount of people who are gonna do it...nubs)

Edit: just so everyone knows you can't use the sword, I dont know when u can but I'm sure when ur almost at the end of the game you can, and don't use the USP in the beginning on the Plant save, for some reason it freezes your xbox

I dragged both savegame files into horizon and did inject file, saved also. I even tried to save, rehash before, and it still is not working. Can someone help me with this?

i got it up and running, i didnt equip anything until i got up onto the roof after the elevator. tried equipping the socom and the game froze and i got a fatal error intercepted on fsd. any ideas?

I think it'll be most likely always like that since Raiden can't get the USP normally

Well i did manage to get Raiden to use all guns before..and it worked when i made the save. I also managed to get Snake to use the HF Blade (I know, awesome right!?) But froze when i entered a new area.

I am having the same problem except I am using Modio to insert it. I only use Horizon if I am using one of its built in editors. Don't know whats going on it only shows my save when loading up and if I look in the storage, the save is there and it isn't corrupted. Even says my username with it.

I had the same thing - probably best not to pick up ammo or rations - just be careful when running round or shaking down baddies!

I tested the Tanker save. You will lose all the modded items and ammo when you get to bridge of the tanker. I imagine the same thing will happen at some point using the Plant save..

as you can see i think that i did everything correctly like i said, that's why i'm asking for help it went on without any errors just doesn't seem to be visible in game, but it's there if i go into my memory.

You can try changing the ID's or extract(This is what I did. It works perfectly and I was able to do it with the latest game update so that isn't an issue.) what's inside the modded save file's(DATA.bin and MASTER.bin) and replace what's inside your save with those. It's simpler in a way I think.

MGS2HD Saves(In case you want to simply try renaming the Files.)
Snake-Tanker:Convert BLES01419_MGS2000G000=BLUS30847_MGS2000G000
Raiden-Plant: Convert BLES01419_MGS2000G001=BLUS30847_MGS2000G001

MGS3HD Save
Convert (Any of the four you wanted to use. Read the 1st note)BLES01419_MGS31G000001=BLUS30847_MGS31G000001

Remember to make backups and to Save, Rehash, and Resign with your Profile of course.

"1st NOTE"

For those of you who are losing the items after the Bridge scene with Boss, simply do the same steps you did the 1st time except with the post-Ocelot modded save of your choosing(Normal or Extreme). If you're wondering why all the hassle, well renegade and quicky were not only smart but kind enough to do it this way so you can get the achievement from the 1st encounter with Ocelot(Pre-Ocelot Modded save(This is what I assume and is probably likely anyway.))
So remember to thank them and show your appreciation for their hard work.

I forgot where but the Modded save is on this site. I think it was cody something or somesuch(I'm Sorry I don't remember lol. :058:). Anyways, to get the modded save file to work, all you have to do is play the game up until you get to save it the first time. Then simply replace your savefile NA_00000000.000(US title ID. Don't know what the other ones are or if it matters(If you rename them.) as long as the TITLE ID is the same one you're supposed to use..) with the modded one. That simple, just replace the whole file. Not anything inside the file. Save, Rehash, and Resign with your Profile.

NOTE "Different Regions"

If it's a different region just extract the file inside , rename it(It's just the 1st two letters.(NA to EU and vice versa for example)) to the region of your choice and then inject into your savefile. Then (or you could do this before hand, doesn't matter) you rename the actual savefile to your region. Voila.
Tool I used was Horizon.
