ok, here a tool for editing cash,xp,level and upgrade points...

this tool basicly takes your whole save apart, and rebuild it...
it should work for everyone.

How to use :

1. Open up your save... either from Ftp/Usb or Local Path.
2. Edit the Values to your desiring and hit save.

File will be saved Rehashed & Resigned.

Whenever I try to load the save off USB it states "No Save Found !" When I try to load the save manually it states "Invalid Witcher 2 Savegame" Any ideas?

what you mean done playing house is there a certain point it saves to where the editor works
start a new game then choose "the king summoned me that morning" dont skip the cutscene & you'll know what i mean..
the editor works in that area so try it :)

The editor should work everywhere in game, i tried it with a several savegames.
So lets be clear on this...if anyone experiencing probs, post your save with the error.

This isn't a request forum, also your save loads perfectly in the Editor. You need to stop being lazy and mod it yourself... Editors are made to make it as easy as possible to mod a save...

Edit: Fixed That one... but encounterd another isseu... you guys have to do with this till i have some time to fix it.

It should work on every Pal SaveGame... The NTSC Game has some problems, but will be fixed later on.

the ftp(ip) is only for RGH(Reset Glitch Hack), jtag or Devkit , you need something to enable your xbox to ftp . and Retail xbox wont allow you that.

I've seen that error before, usually when I edit whatever I'm editing to some ungodly amount and I exceed the game parameters...maybe something simple like 999 for the talent points would do? since it's more than enough apparently to be able to max out every skill

Hoping to use your editor soon I also had a question about the future of the editor. Will you be adding item moding or inventory modding to this editor? Just curious as I noticed theres craft-able items in the game. Editting to add that im using net framework 4 on my machine. Is 3.5 + what should be working or specifically 3.5?

if you are running Windows 7 64 bit then it already has .net framework 3.5 installed, just doesnt show it in Program/Features, also jappi said he will fix the problem tomorrow so you will have to wait till then

to activate Net Framework 3.5.1 Win7 64bit & 32bit goto Control Panel / Programs & Features & click Turn Windows Features on or off
now locate Microsoft. Net Framework 3.5.1 and check the sneaky bastard.
click OK & ur good to go :)

it should work for everyone.

How to use :

1. Open up your save... either from Ftp/Usb or Local Path.
2. Edit the Values to your desiring and hit save.

File will be saved Rehashed & Resigned.

Well if the editor at least opens up then you have .Net Framework 3.5 or higher... if you didn't a message would tell you that the editor needs .Net Framework and would link you to a download.... What is the error that you get when you try to load your save

then just use Modio/Horizon/360Revolution to extract your save then just open your save in the tool and it should work fine

for those of you who are having problems try opening the editor, go to the top left and choose File then Load or just hit CTRL+O and then find your QuickSave and it should work

So i see some users still have some problems using it...

Hmm...the bug is nothing major and could be fixed without much problems...still it works for me and the most users depens on the os used.
Oke...anyway, i'l take a look at it again later on.
Just make sure the save is not used by another process. And if bugs keep accuring, keep posting it in the thread, request and feedback is welcome as well.

My discs were packed the same way. I actually put in disc 2 first and installed, and it wasn't until it was finished that I noticed that I hadn't put in disc 1.

Alright so the problem i had was on my side. I tried it just now and it worked fine. AS to what might i have done wrong i have no clue. I no longer got the Index array error. Perhaps my save was being used by another process. So yeah there is no bug in the system only user error. Thank you for the great editor! Have an awesome day/evening!
