Already? I finally get Windows 7 all through my home and this is announced for next year. Microsoft is as bad with OS as Nintendo is with the many versions of the DS:-l

It's because of the Windows 7 Ultimate isos that made the rounds so quickly after its release. Everyone had a free version of Windows 7 even quicker and easier than Vista or XP.

there are a few milestone releases of windows 8 if you want to have a look at it. I wont be upgrading in a the near future I don't see the point for a few new upgrades.

Yeah, screw that. Of course, now that Windows 8 is coming out, 7 will probably go way down in price. I do want to upgrade because I'm tired of XP, but I don't think I'm gonna go all the way up to 8 right away.

Yeah actually windows 7 is the best for now. It's using resources much better, it's lighter and a key feature speaking of laptops is the battery saving. It's the most energy-economic.
