I dont know, i wanna agree n disagree with you!!!) Yeah, there were a lot of games n big titles in 2010....but was there a good one? I mean try to count Superub/Best/Worth Titles of 2010.... for me its Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, Dead Rising 2, Alan Wake (dont forget this one), Call of Duty Black Ops, Just Cause 2 (im fan), Halo: Reach (not a fan -_-), and its done!!! Lets count: 7 games, like 7 deadly ex-es, of 7 sins xD
now lets look at the chart below, i dunno how it stands for u, but i see 14+ good titles,maybe im just a fanboy xDD

I actually just went through what I brought last year and for me the numbers pretty much matched (12 for 2010 13 for 2011)
So for me it really is about the same, though as you said time will tell how each and every titles turns out

Never got to play them only the demo which was pretty fun, plus didn't the Naruto game go up to the pain arc? guessing since the cover was showing sage naruto.

Im still waiting for lost odyssey 2 or whatever the new title is lol.

I didn't even know they were planning to continue the title? Though I would doubt it will follow Kaim and co again since the ending pretty much wrapped it up unless it follows Seth and her return to her world but there wouldn't be all that much to continue on that in my opinion

I can't wait for Edler scrolls V: Skyrim, I've lost count how many hundreds of hours I spent on Oblivion, and after reading about how they revamped a lot of things I'm excited to play this game. On the downside the release date isn't till Novermber..Dam you teaser trailers! :mad:. FF XIII Versus I'll probably grab, LO2 sounds good as well. I'm hesitant about Dragon Age 2 because the support for the first one was terrible to say the least, but I really enjoyed the first one when they finally fixed the major bugs. Other than that I think many new titles are going to be rent first, then maybe buy, too many games these days don't live up to the hype. Oh, and Mass Effect 3 is out this year too, might pick that up if they don't completely turn it into a shooter...lol.

Yeah,it is!!! Pain arc, and then a few Taka-Sasuke (akatsuki-uniform) against The Killer Bee a.k.a. 8 tails Jyunchiriki (host of a demon) :P

Indeed!!! ^_^ if!!! IF THEY DONT FAIL THE THINGS THEY PROMISED IN THESE GAMES >_< I mean in 2010 there were a good expectations from some games,like...like...Vanquish for a example!!! Yeah,its a good-fast-3rd-person-shooter with some NEW things....BUT ITS TOO SHORT, Ive completed it in 4 hours n a half...on HARD !!! WTF?
or WWE SvR 2011 !!! They inveted this Universe Mode n "Random generating events".... BULLSH*T !!! It have like 3 or 4 diffrent events, like "Restart this match", "someone drops in,n knock u out", "same,but knocks out ur opponent", n "somebody attacks u before u enter the ring".... yeah...Very good RANDOM generation....
Oh yeah, how can i forget Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 .... Damn.... i hate this game.... i was hyped for it,since it was announced... i mean the first one was great for me... n now they added the dual-wield lightsabers, the mind trick, more powerfull force, n rage mode.... but it lacks everything else, the gameplay repetetive as sh*t...u will be smashing the same combos on the same enemies, over n over again -_- oh.... i cant talk more about this game any longer....
And there is a lot of games, n i hope some of u guys agree with me, that 2010 could be a much better Year for Games, if they fixed some parts of the games

My thoughts exactly about the game, I got it the first day it was out and like WTF?! there's absolutely nothing to do in this huge city besides the main story missions. I think for most games that have a lot of hype I'm going to rent them first, no matter what kind of pre-order bonuses there are, just too many disappoinments the last few years.

I'll be playing any which take my fancy. Ive just started Dead Space 2 but there are loads of games Im looking forward to playing, including Batman Arkham City, Knights Contract, Crysis 2. I really need to get my arse into gear and buy myself a Playstaion 3. Ive missed out on some big games that once I get a PS 3, I will catch up on.

For me Arkham City is a must (Arkham Asylum was great), then Mass Effect 3. Tekken Tag 2 from what i know comes out in 2012.

Before it was delayed until 2012, Mass Effect 3 was on my list...now, though - it's simply on my 2012 list.

L.A. Noire was on my list too - but not it's not since I own the game and am loving every second of it. I'm honestly surprised (in a delightful way) how few action scenes there are - heavy focus on investigation instead. Woo!

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was one of 'em too, before it came out.

For those not yet released - Skyrim is definetely one, as is Street Fighter x Tekken...provided of course they work on the engine a bit and tweak some of the priority issues present in TIGER SHOT...I mean Street Fighter IV.

And of course - Arkham City. Loved Asylum, love Batman, and as an added bonus, I can watch my girl attempt to play for a good laugh...then apologize profusely when she finally learns to play right.

mass effect 3 (want this one)
duke nukem forever (bought it, but it was a bit of a let down so i sold it already after compleating each difficulty in 3 days)
F.E.A.R 3 (now got it on pre-order)
gears of war 3 (likely get this when it come out in september)
street fighter vs tekken (sounds interesting so i might get it)

biggest let down of those for me was brink.

The game I want most for the Xbox 360 this year is admittedly Dungeon Siege 3. I have friends over every so often and it seems like a truly remarkable game to play co-op in. Hopefully however, it isn't going to be overshadowed by the sheer amount of Live Arcade Co-ops that have and are being released before September this year. In addition, I hope to acquire a copy of Phantasy Star Online (Know it isn't 2011) so I can play it on my Xbox 360. The computer version is gibbed now that the Gameguard is unable to update it anymore.

I'm gonna play all of them when they're release regardless genre & what the "expert" reviews for those games.

Once I get Skyrim I think that my social life will cease to exist! The only game I really want other than that though is Saint's Row 3. Although it did kinda tick me off when they showed a boss battle on one of the trailers! Only because it will spoil that part of the game for me.

almost the end of 2011 and i have to say, having played almost all the games on the list, the medal goes to skyrim in my opinion because its so playable and constantly new. there was a truckload of games that were extremely fun but died out so quick just because they had no replay value. Skyrim just needs multiplayer, even if only a Fable sort of multiplayer. If you could play with others, people who dont even play skyrim would get it just to bask in its glory along-side friends.
