Optimus is an abomination! Won't you like your computer to think by itself? and have it own opinion? hehehe :)

Did my Diploma of Interactive digital media. Pretty much was Web Design (all aspects) and 3D (Majored).
3D I did Level Design under a virtual walkthrough to cut out a lot of the main headaches of scripting

Probably going to study web design or something with TV/editing/directing. Those are my main interests and have been for awhile.

I would hate to think the stories our computers could tell if it could... :P

Just had an interview today for the film industry, if you can invest a vast majority (as the interviewer essentially stated) you can go far.
Also for Web Design it's really heavily moving into CMS (content Management Systems) which aren't all that difficult but it is still a good course to do to learn the other aspect of web. The thing is though depending on where you live it can either be easy or hard to find work, so just do some research on your area before committing would be my advice

Currently in school, working on a Degree in Culinary Science... Probably far from the norm as to what most people would answer on here but meh.

Technically you don't, however to get into the higher brackets of pay and to become certified as an Executive Chef and beyond by the American Culinary Federation you need a degree.

Going to specialize in both since it will help me in my everyday life. (not just getting a job, plus I love networking, and programming).

As for what language. I'm doing PHP for summer semester along with C++ hopefully if the class has enough people, or isn't to full. I'm learning C# on my own free time though which is fun to use.

Nerds Shall Inherit The World!!!!! So all you hater's out there you better watch out, because you be pumping my gas into my 1957 Chevy Impala, and my Bently. So talk that trash now, because the nerds/geeks will have the last laugh. Guarantee It!!!!

I cannot stand networking. Well I know the basics but when it comes to ipv6 and all those nonsense I am clueless.

In my course we don't really do any web language just strict Object-oriented programming (OOP). So far I have done Java and VB.net. I will be doing c++ and C next year but I am self teaching myself this year. I seriously want to learn how to make my own mod tools though and get my hands on a Jtaged 360 but I live in a country that's fairly slow.

I was studying Computer Programming, all I have left is some stupid classes (in my opinion) like economics and such. Can't get enough financial aid, and credit isn't there for a loan. I'm going to wing it and try to get a job in the industry anyway, without a degree. I've also taken a couple semesters of networking classes. But programming is my passion.

Then you need a portfolio to show employers what you can do. Some people go to college and have loads of certs but still can't do anything.

Interesting how a majority of the responses here are computer science. I actually went to USC (ironic as one of the posts indicated that our QBs are drug dealing pimps :P), but majored in Neuroscience - fancy.
