About:
QuikZip is a tool to quickly compress or decompress. It uses GZip (".gz") Compression.
Usage (in Command Prompt/cmd.exe):
<QUIKZIP.EXE> <INPUTFILE> <MODE>
Example:
C:\QuikZip.exe C:\file.txt Compress
When entering arguments - be sure to separate each with a space.
And also there should be no spaces in the arguments themselves.
*You can also just drag 'n' drop a file onto the application's icon and it will compress/decompress it automatically. The <MODE> will be determined by the extension of the <INPUTFILE>; if it's extension is ".gz" then it gets decompressed, or else it gets compressed.
Explanation:
<QUIKZIP.EXE> *The Path of the Application.
<INPUTFILE> *The Path of the Input File.
<MODE> *Compress or Decompress
Note1:
The compressed file will be named the original file + ".gz". So the file to decompress MUST have the extension ".gz" or it can damage the file.
Note2:
The application will delete any obsolete files when compressing/decompressing. So if you want to save any file then you should back it up before proceeding.
