Square Enix Ltd. has today confirmed that a new downloadable PC version of the phenomenally popular role-playing game (RPG), Final Fantasy VII will be available this year to celebrate the Final Fantasy franchise’s 25th anniversary. Along with the confirmation of the release, the publisher has revealed the launch strategy for the forthcoming videogame.

Edit: i looked around and its just a re-release of the ps1 game that most of us have already played before, the only difference is there is going to be a character booster option(which is not needed lol), and achievements(which means it probably going to use steam), and cloud saving(again probably through steam), so all in all im disappointed now, i would rather play my ps1 version then this one since they are both the same XD
Edit2: mind you i will probably still get it since im big FFVII fan lol
