Minecraft, How to leave the end without killing the dragon

Many may already know this, but to others I hope you find it helpful. First thing mod nether portal into your inventory Id 005A. Next load up your game and head to the end. Once there simply place the nether portal where you would like and now you can travel from the end to the nether to regular world without problems. I hope this helps someone. I wanted to build in the end and leave the dragon as well, part of the creation. It didnt take very long to discover this, so Im sure others have. Anyway hope this helps someone
