Fate's Veil - Kingdom of Amalur Save Editor v1.1
ok guys... this should do it...
you got a character editor
- here you can edit you HP/HP, EXP, Skill/Ability Points and Inventory Limit
and an item editor
- here you can edit your items effect list (you can add or completely delete the effect), Amount, Max and current durability

NOTE:
in the Item editor
the item list will list items with their IDs
if you named your item (ingame) then the name will be shown instead
there is a Item name list in the same directory as the extracted editor
this list contains a list and names of the items... as the IDs may change its up to you to fill it or leave it..
the Item effect on the left side is the list of the effects in the Effects file... (also in the same directory as the editor)
this contains all the IDs found by idlehands & folly...
if you want to be able to add more items that are not in this list please update the list
the effect list in the middle is the list of the effects in the selected item
the buttons "Add10x" will add 10 of the selected item while "Add" will just add just 1
and the buttons "Clear" will remove all effects from the item while "Remove" will just remove 1

small update... now you can change exp, skill and ability points....
for tge ability points i recommend a maximum of 369 (minus the points you've already spent...)
other wise you won't be able to level the skills/abilities up
max skill is 90 (minus the already activated ones)... but it look like that it will be set to max automatically...
also you should know that the fields for the exp, skill and ability points is only shown once you get some of those in game... this is just to make sure the game will still function... and won't crash or something...

no need for extraction or anything
also it will automatically resign/rehash when you save the file

Ok. I just made a dummy save right at the start in the well of souls and saved it to usb. I then put it in your editor and modded everything. HP 99999 mana 99999 Gold 1000000 and inventory 5000 and it worked flawlessly lol! I don't know what the max is you can go to but I just used those amounts for testing. I can't wait to see what the next version brings us. Thank you again for your efforts on this.

However, it doesn't quite seem to work for me, if only because I keep getting this error for some strange reason, I'm not sure why:

max value is "2147483647"
but i wouldn't recommend going that high...
as you might go to negative values later in the game
max value for hp/mp is 9999
if you go higher than that then you will see a red "*" near the hp/mp value
and if you go above a certain point the bars will show like they are empty even if you set the same max and current values
well i'm trying to identify the IDs for the exp, skill and ability points... so i can add them...
i lost my research file on the last hdd format... -.-'''

It does that when I hit the save button.
It opens and loads just fine.
I set my HP and Mana to 9,999; my gold to 99,999,999 and my inventory to 999. After that, I hit save and the save button didn't seem to work at first and after a bit of waiting, I got that error message.
Do you still want to take a look at the save file? I can have it up in a jiffy.

Oh ok. Thank you. I will stay away from 2147483647 then. I will also lower the HP and Mana to 9999 as stated. I did notice when they were 99999 that the health and mana said 99999/0 (in red) I can see why now lol! Thanks for the heads up.

Nice tool,keep up the good work.
But i have a problem,it won't open my saves it just crashes.
It wil only open a save from gamestart.

I'm not sure what you are implying there. I have no idea why.
To be honest, I'm not sure if it is my save crashing the program or the program itself crashing on its own. I fail to see how a save could affect a save editor, though.
The first two times it actually loaded fine in the editor. The first two times, it was the save button that kept messing up. When I when to reload the file that was just 'edited' to see if the changes remained and it actually saved, I got that error message a third time. So I don't know what's up with that.
I've been using save editors for years and rarely get these problems. I run the program as Admin, by the way, not sure if I wasn't supposed to.

Not implying anything. I've just tested 6 saves on the editor......4 of mine, one off modio( just to try a different one) and yours. All of them loaded fine but every time I load yours it says encountered an error and shuts down lol! I have no idea wtf is happening there.

the second one was the save7.sav which wasn't modified after loading and saving i found the problem
it was a mistake on my part i used a wrong variable which didn't save the right values that are necessary for the save to work
will upload a fixed version once my visual studio start listening to me again ^_^'''

Probably a system problem on my end, I think. That's gotta be it. I may have to reformat and reinstall Winblowz 7 Ultimate. Thanks for the input.

well... i don't know why... it worked for your... but there are some things that are saved in the same block where your character name and money is saved...
its saved as a list and that list is empty only at the beginning of the game i'm still not sure that the stuff is that is saved in that list
but by mistake i used an empty variable (at least for that part it was empty) and if you still had entries in that list it would it would tell the game or in this case the editor that there is no stuff in the list so you can read on... and that's what is causing this problem
so in the long run you would encounter this problem too... @skitzognome ^_^
but with the fixed version this won't happen i hope ^_^

Just wait for the tool's revision,as Sam said he made a little mistake and will upload the fix as soon as possible.

that's because it was edited with the old version
if he uploaded a file that is not modified version it will work just fine ^_^

You have it right. The editor works like a charm now. I made another copy of my unmodded back-up save and modded that with the new version and it works perfectly fine now, the save was successful. Thanks Sam! :D
