Day four of this week's Xbox Live game sale is a mixture of the tempting and the terrible. On the one hand, minor classics like The Darkness 2, Prototype 2, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Tomb Raider now sport super-skinny price tags. On the other, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has resurfaced, like some odious U-bend obstruction. Down, you monster! Down!

I'd give serious thought to picking up Brothers, which is by far the most thoughtful and moving game on the list, but if you can't be fussed with all that "emotion" nonsense, The Darkness 2 is a fine shooter. Not played Tomb Raider yet? If you've got cash to spare, you might prefer the dramatically prettier Xbox One version.
