If you check stats under the status menu, it displays your lifetime earned xp :) I just used that and it seems to have worked (I set it too high though :P and my xp is -1.. will try again)

I haven't really checked, but in searching for stats and such, you might have to look for your base stat (Without the stat points you get from items). Will give it a try myself in a little bit.
