Disgaea (general discussion)

Who here plays the DIsgaea series? Whats your favorite out of the series so on and so forth.

For those that don't know what disgaea is, it is a strategy based JRPG (Like FF: Tactics) done in an anime-esque style of animation. (thats a very bland description of it but meh:P)



I admit, I really enjoy the series, it always keeps me occupied for well over 100 hours (grinding is amazingly fun and the fact you can become so OP late game is just worth it). Character WOrld and Item world and great with loads of variance (for a board style strategy) and are so rewarding.

Gotta love the base building feature they added in Disgaea 4. Fuka as Character world NPC has by far one of the funniest lines in the game:P

i also like the series :), but i got into the series late, my first Disgaea game i played was Disgaea 3 Absence of Justice, after playing it i could not believe i never played the ones on ps2, i have them now but havent played them yet but plan too, unfortunately i havent had time or money XD to get Disgaea 4 which i really want to play hoping to get it soon, by the sounds of it, its going to be awesome :)

I remember I got the video store to sell the first disgaea to me, I was surprised he agreed but it was apparently never rented or something oh well cost me 10 bucks essentially brand new:)

Trying to farm staticians at the moment in D4 to start the lvl9999 grind and considering some guy went from 1 to around 6K in one battle with 12 300 staticians it shouldn't take that long, the longest is going to be from bloody reseting everytime I don't find them when Reverse pirating

There doing something of a remake of DIsgaea 3 for PSP (i think) that has all dlc plus some new story segment, if you don't mind the series, that'll be a good purchase:)
