thanks man, the pics attached definitely helps which I can't open the imageshack file!
however, I can't seem to be able to find CREATECHARACCOM in the save file, I am modding from an autosave, and I don't have a normandy save handy, how else can I identify the correct location?

Try searching for "newgameaccomplished" instead.
