Looks like I'll be saving up to make a better PC.. Both this and the PS4 aren't looking good enough to buy from my perspective.

I would like to see Microsoft integrate USB 3.0 into the new console. It would be the most logical solution to replace a physical drive, a high transfer rate & high storage capacity means that games can be played directly off a storage device seamlessly.

It would be horrible for their system to not have a Blu Ray/DVD-Drive. It won't even be able to play a DVD or a CD in that case, whether the hardware is capable or not, there's no way for the system to read it, even though there are plenty of other ways to play DVDs and CDs, it would still be a convenience issue for some people. Then there are other problems, like what if the storage device, that holds your games, crashes? If you have a big collection, it would take a pretty long time to re-download all of those games.. Another reason why it would be a bad idea, is that if emulation is available for the system to emulate Xbox and Xbox 360 games, you'd probably have to re-buy all the games you already have..

I think it's a bad idea, plain and simple, but that's just my opinion. I could be wrong...

If all this news about the new xbox does come true, I will definitely be buying a PS4, or just spend the money that I'd be spending on a new console and upgrade my PC to something that can play newer games.

If they do this much like other people have said I will not buy the new xbox if it doesn't have a disc drive. I like to go offline and play games by myself alot. I will either buy a PS4 or just get a decent gaming computer and ditch consoles all together.
