Rockstar has sent over four new Max Payne 3 screenshots, each of which features Max shooting at someone or something. Just the way we like it.
They also show three different versions of Max: there's casual vigilante Max, well-armoured fed Max, and Hawaii Five-0 Max. We're big fans of his bald headed, Hawaiian shirt look here.
We can't provide much context for what's going on in these screens, but we presume Max was doing something or other that went tits up and he decided to make it all better with some bullet therapy.
Remedy, developer of the first two games in the series, has said it "absolutely loves" Rockstar's work on Max Payne 3 and "couldn't be more proud of where the series is headed".
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Max Payne 3 will be out on May 15 in North America and May 18 internationally. The PC version is scheduled for release on May 29 in the US and June 1 everywhere else.

I especially like that second pic, nothing like a close range headshot, nice blood spray too. Hopefully there will be the bullet cam for headshots like previous games had when you slowed time, I can never get tired of that.
