Crytek seems to have put the recent leak of the Crysis 2 PC build behind them. Instead of focusing on the unfortunate incident, they're looking forward to what they have prepared for PS3 gamers.

Speaking to video game news blog PSU at a recent EA event, Crysis 2 executive producer Nathan Camarillo dropped some hints regarding a possible pre-release demo for owners of Sony's home console.

Despite a lack of specifics, Camarillo said that PS3 owners "can probably hope for one." A beta for the PC version has already been confirmed.

"We want as many people to play Crysis 2 as possible." said Camarillo. "I can't say anything too specific ... we haven't announced [the demo] yet."

The game's executive producer also hinted that a demo isn't the only possibility in Crysis 2's downloadable future.

"You can imagine we will [support Crysis 2 with downloadable content]," he said. "It's a big game and there's a lot of fun to be had, so you can imagine we're doing some [DLC], but I can't say specifically what it is yet."

As reported by Ripten, the leaked PC developers' build of Crysis 2 seems to support the possibility of future downloadable content for the game.

A folder named "Dlc" containing further folders with names such as "cw2_tanker" and cw2_central_station" has been spotted in the leaked PC version. The names used for these folders don't appear as single- or multiplayer maps.

Camarillo also took the chance afforded by the interview to further assure console gamers that there won't be any disparities between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Crysis 2.

"People can try to find them (disparities), but they won't find anything," said Camarillo. "They both run great, they both play great whether you're playing single-player or multiplayer — they're identical offerings. The quality is outstanding on both of them; there's really no difference."
