jailbreaking ipad3 running ios 5.1

thx for the info. apple just released update 5.1.1. im not gonna update my mine. ill stay with 5.1 for now.

u don't need it to be jailbroken in order to mod saves u can use a program like ifunbox to view the file system of the ipad and copy your save to your pc to edit then move back i've done it for several games on my phone and a few other peoples mine is hacked but my friends have a few that aren't and it works just the same

you could send in your shsh file to developers to help them...i sent in mine for the Ipod touch 4 and 3 months later there was a JB for it.

the shsh is a signature file used to restore to an earlier firmware what your thinking of is most likely when the chronic dev team released a tool to send them all the crash reports from individual devices
