I thought this was weird because I had edited the dungeon defenders save a while back and computer could see that save file or it was the hex editor I used that could see it. Any ideas? Using her editors gonna make it. So much easier I only followed a tut when I did dungeon defenders. If possible you could post the link to the tut for dragons dogma I'm not sure where it's at new to this site.
You can't just copy paste. Use either Modio or Horizon to rehash and resign your save.

I know nothing about modding, but reading Idle's thread, I figured it out quickly and well I've never had a problem, maybe you're just not doing it right.

edited it from 1st time successfully just dont mess around the numbers for stats u can find them by scrolling down both on char and main pawn as for items put everything in the storage except what u wanna edit example 1 tool item or an weapon when u scroll down on list u will see . item.. and an bit down it has an nr if u use pur3 editor u can check in the item list whats that nr when u find it then simply replace it with what u wanna add some guys posted some screenshot on how the stats look in the text or the items

all i know is that idle's tutorial was pretty helpful. at least no one i know has the message "path cannot be null. parameter name:path" and the file you wanted to get modded couldnt even open. now THATs a problem. ... and yes thats what i get ever single time. ... lol. oh well.

if you want a modded file, try out idle's ultimate starter save file. it is pretty epic. to say the least. that is if you give up on modding your own. :) just sayin'.
