Wow, even phones are deceitful. I mean seriously, it has to be amongst one of the best looking phones at the moment, and the graphics on it are stunning. But if things like that can happen, people are going to have be wary with heat-sources, especially with smart-phones and their batteries, and even more so than this phone. Does anyone know what exactly caused it? Was it even the battery? Judging by the position, I would assume the battery or perhaps the USB port had something melt, setting off a chain reaction resulting in a miniature explosion. But I don't know much about the phone engineering, so that theory could of course be absolute waffle :P

I'm still buying one, it's not like this is a problem that happens to everyone. Just happened to one phone, probably a bad component which happens to all phones. Numerous iPhones and other phones have done similar things. Nothing to fret over.
