What the guy was trying to say was that the cracked version of Dark Souls will work with this save editor. (As the pirated one uses modified DLLs to get past the GfWL bullshit.) This will NOT work with a legitimate PC DS purchase.

I think the patched .dll file is referring to the file called xlive.dll that disables Games For Windows Live and resulting in playing offline mode. I did tried it once and it caused my game to be played offline. And it's quite troublesome to remove it as simply deleting the .dll file doesn't seems to get me back online instead I had to reinstall the game and GFWL to go online. And with xlive.dll the save file can't be use online/legit version and vice-versa.

anyone knows the ID, sort value, etc. of the new items of PTDE to the item database? giving the soul of artorias was a huge regret

found another problem when editing the game after obtaining the estus flasks, you cannot upgrade it with fire keepers souls anymore
the fire keeper souls will stay in your inventory no matter how many times you ask them to upgrade your flasks

You sir are the best, I gave up playing this game since I killed Andrei the black smith and accidentally attaked the priest in the bell tower and the giant black smith. Now I find this 2 weeks later. =D my hero.
