I checked the GPD that you posted and there is no "save data" in the file. That either means (A) the game doesn't store save-data in the GPD, or (B) you haven't played the game on that GPD yet. No data means no edit.

I played upto chapter 2. My guess is where they changed from Chrome engine 4 to Cry 3 engine, it stores all info in the save file and not the GPD. Saves for SGW 2 work for this game unlike the first one.

Thanks for looking into it though. Save editor might be more doable.
