This works just fine... keep in mind for those of you that have tried you are editing your profile not the Borderlands 2 game save. I have tested this on a offline profile with no key and when I logged in I had one key.

Question: My main profile has 2 "two" keys... Does that mean my I can inject "5454087c" into other profiles or back it up and keep getting two keys? I will have to try, or maybe it will be modded by then....

Sweet, so the golden keys are stored in the gpd. Should be able to hex edit them then?

was able to do this a few when disconnected from XBL times, now the I reconnected back to XBL my game was not where it should be and I can no longer preform this mod. This has been noted as a problem when modifying this file as far as problems with not have levels or progression in the game...
