Resident Evil 6 Campaign Modding Idea

So since the game knows what weapons you should have when you beat the game my question/Idea is can you mod those into something else like have leon with a crossbow

Note:I do not have or played Resident Evil 6

It should be possible but the problem is unlike the other Resident Evil games there is no manual saving and it saves randomly, so I hard to play, change something and compare the save
