Thats because you need the PSI armor to enter the chamber.

My soldiers all have the Psi armor equipped...

Hm. Interesting. I loaded up the game this morning, after turning off the box last night, and it allowed me to use the Gollop chamber. So I finished off the game. I used the impossible/ironman save that was uploaded, but after killing the final ethereal, the ending sequence played like usual, but then the game gave me the defeat screen.

Anyone else have this happen? Anyone who was able to finish and get the success willing to upload their final save?

If you wait longer than a few hours for people to notice your post, you very well may get an answer. The chances of someone already using the set to complete the game, going through all the steps you did, running into the same problem, and then magically hanging out in this thread 24/7 are going to be fairly slim, especially on the weekend. Give it a few days for more people to download and test.

hi does this save work on jtag if so how do i use it? do i have to start a new game?
sorry am brand new to mods etc i have used horizon to change all porofile id etc but cant get the save to work
it just says corrupt and freezes any help would be much appreciated

These saves work for retail,jtag,or rgh now if u have done every thing right with swapping id's around then it should have worked,
now the other reason i can think of is what region your from, because i had someone from germany who had the same problem.

but if you want i could try on my end in swapping id's around for you, i will need a save with your id's on it.
