@TWrecks - Yeah.. I have to say, AVG is the Mickey Mouse of the anti-virus world. The same thing happened to me.. however, I 'aquired' a copy of Norton 2013, cleaned it up a little and all is fine. I can access the program no problem. I think you can have AVG allow the editor, but i'm not sure where you find this option.
I actually have AVG installed so I can make sure that my program doesn't have a false positive on it. Malwarebytes is the actual AV that I use though, because AVG is overly sensitive and gives many false positives, and is really bad at marking key generators and similar programs as positive. If you scan the same programs with Malwarebytes, you get the real results. But yeah, I try to make sure my programs don't show as positive on AVG, as it's one of the worst for having false positives. You don't know how frustrating it is, when I compile and pack my program, just for AVG to pop-up and say it found a threat, and then I have to change my pack settings and compiler settings, so my program won't have a false positive. Not sure if any other developers face the same problem, but AntiVirus software is usually a joke.
