i keep getting disc read error was working when i used version 1.5 but then i used ver 1.6 and it stopped working going to try ver 1.7 hope it works

See post #116 or #94. This happens a lot to me even after getting it working again. Seems removing everything from the Inventory Slots and only adding a single weapon that I've already found ingame lets you recover the save and continue. All my weapons were still in my current game even though I edited them out to continue. Don't know why it happens...just mess around with your Inventory Items and change the number to something lower instead of maxing everything out. This game is much more fun with this editor. Once you get it working and can use the Assault Rifle and Silenced Rifle or Crossbow it increases the replay value ten fold...

Dude, this editor is so awesome. I just wish you could mod YOUR condition to be invincible. The disc read errors i've just learned are reated to some items but having a crossbow with unlimited MREs are awesome. Thanks again, Idle. Some of your best stuff.
