What is your favorite Final Fantasy game and Character?

I like Final Fantasy X, Like Cloud Strife (Yes I know Cloud isn't in that one).

Final Fantasy X is my favourite game, but Zack Fair is my favourite character. FFX had a really big impact on my childhood. The story was great, the battle system was great and there was so much to do. I'll never forget that.

Zack is my favourite Character because he is so much cooler than Cloud, the storyline of Crisis Core was also very impacting to me. I loved every minute of it.

Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game, but Terra is my favorite character.

FF9 was so good, and it stood the test of time so much better than the other PS1 Final Fantasy games; pick it up today and after two hours you can easily forget that you're playing a PS1 game. The graphics are gorgeous, the music is mesmerizing, and the story is epic. Plus, there's just something about bringing the old "knights and wizards" FF4 feeling to a (then) modern 3D title. After having played FF7 and FF8, which both strayed so far from the core of Final Fantasy, it was great to play something that -FELT- like Final Fantasy.

Terra rules. She is such a well-written character. She's just so believably human. She has amnesia thrust upon her at the beginning of the game, and when she finally does remember her "cursed with awesome" origins, what does she do? Mope about it and turn emo? Keep an upbeat attitude and move on? No, she flips out and starts blowing stuff up! Plus, she isn't used for sex appeal at all, and is very rarely the target of pervy antics; I think it says something when a main female character is portrayed in a way that even her pervy teammates treat her as just another friend. Also, it's great to see a red mage take the spot as the lead. And she is a good red mage, too! And finally, her theme song just kicks all sorts of ass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTlQ3f_WIPc. Even compared to FF9's wonderful soundtrack, this one just blows everything out of the water!

Final Fantasy VII and of course Cloud Strife

i just love FFVII, i have played so many times that i have lost count, Cloud is just a beast and will always be my favorite final fantasy character, when i played FFVII i didnt know i was going to love it that much, it changed my out look on rpgs/jrpgs, after playing FFVII i realized that i wanted to play more jrpgs, if i would have never played it i wouldnt love jrpgs as much as i do now, i will never forget FFVII for as long as i live :D
