i would like to see a remake of the n64 goldeneye

to many to list lol, but the one i would love most is obviously FFVII and im not talking just a port or hd upgrade im talking about a full remake, using all technology they have at hand to make everything better, they could even add all the content from crisis core, dirge of Cerberus, and advent children all into one awesome full game, i would play non stop until the end of time ;)

Knights of the Old Republic 2 or Killer Instinct.
Hmm, what to pick, what to pick. There are so many...
I guess the remake I want to see the absolute most is Ocarina of Time. And I don't mean a fancy port like the 3DS version, I'm talking a straight remake from the ground up. To me, OoT is the product of wasted potential. There's so much vision that could have been realized, and it was all tossed for a mediocre plot with sub-par characters. The most developed character in OoT was Dampé the grave keeper. DAMPÉ THE GRAVE KEEPER!
I want to see the story fleshed out in all its glory. I'd like to see it remade in a style similar to Twilight Princess. I don't just mean the graphical style, but the deep story-telling style too. I want to see Hyrule Field be this huge expanse of land (again similar to Twilight Princess) and not some small and empty plot of grass. I want to see the worthy beta content get used (DAMMIT I WANT TO FIGHT AN ARWING). I want to see Dark Link fleshed out as more than just a simple miniboss that didn't really fit into his chosen temple. I want to see Ganondorf fleshed out as more than just the typical evil king persona in video games (Wind Waker did a really good job a fleshing out his character). I want to fight through the Light Temple. I want more closure on Navi. I want an arena similar to Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (bonus points if a sexy fairy gives you a bottle of purple goop at the end). And for crying out loud, I want Ganondorf to have red blood again!
To me, Twilight Princess felt more like OoT than OoT itself did. For as much praise as OoT gets, I'd like to see something done with it to make it DESERVE all that praise. I'd like to see it remade strong!
Oh, also Super Metroid. XP
Ohhh, good one. I forgot about that game. That'd be a great remake.
Should it count if there was already a remake on the previous gen? Twin Snakes is great! ^-^
Also, you beat me to the punch. @Krispin: Her name in Japan is pronounced Earisu (エアリス = e a ri su). However, the katakana for "su" can be translated as either "s" or "th". When the translators were working on it they didn't know which one to pick, so they just took a chance and picked "Aeris". Turns out they picked wrong, and every instance of her name since then has been corrected to "Aerith". The same thing can be seen with Sephiroth's name (セフィロス = se fi ro su), though they ended up translating his name correctly the first time.
I think you're right. I'm pretty sure Reloaded was supposed to be a remake. Didn't it get not very good reviews because everybody was comparing it to the original through rose-tinted glasses?

actually it's not a fake name it was originaly Aerith Gainsborough (エアリス・ゲインズブール Earisu Geinzubūru) — and mistranslated to Aeris Gainsborough in the English releases of Final Fantasy 7 which is why they went with aerith in kingdomhearts and other games.
several other games have done the same when they were translated such as street fighter 2 where (in this case for leagal reasons) they mixed several names up during translation such as M. Bison (the final boss) where he was originally known in Japan as Vega (ベガ Bega), Vega (the cage fighter) was originaly Balrog and Balrog (the boxer) was originally m.bison (changed because it's too much like mike tyson) even in the later street fighter games they renamed characters such as Akuma (in Japanese, "Devil" or "Demon") known in Japan as Gouki (豪鬼 Gōki, lit. "Great Demon") i think that was a mistranslation.
Edit: sorry renagade just thought it needed a little extra explaining.
no to a remake of KOTOR 2 it was perfect as it was.
