Xbox Live bans won't block access to Xbox One games!

Banned players can still play their games, says XBL director of programming.

Xbox One owners banned from Xbox Live won't be blocked from accessing their games.

According to Official Xbox Magazine, the question was raised in an interview with Xbox Live director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hyrb after a recent Twitter discussion in which Xbox Support seemingly confirmed that banned Xbox Live users would lose access to their games.

Major Nelson shot this down, stating that the rumour was "absolutely" untrue and that players will "always have access to the games you purchased" regardless of whether they're banned from Xbox Live.
