just got it and tried messing with it found my stats but every time i hexed them my file was corrupt just wondering if .bin files are modded differently im new to modding so any input would be cool

File type/extension doesn't matter, they are all Package files. And all files (data) are generally edited the same way in theory.
If you would like help then please post a couple of different unedited gamesaves for someone to take a look at.

try only edit the money but it show up save corrupt after loading. can someone look into this, it must be have checksum...

yeah me and idlehands have both tried hexin it and it comes up corrupt it might have a checksum or might be more than one place u have to hex or backwards values like in two worlds 2

here is some saves just documented gold xp and capacity thoughi think it might be the checksum i compared after hexxed and it was different but i have no idea how to fix it is there a tut on how to fix it im new to modding http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5TY2OZ34

Here is a little bookmark. When ever I have time I would try work on it. If anyone else is working on it I will give you a bookmark that my help a little. If I find anything interesting I will update it.

The offsets are dynamic. It seem to use a math calculation checksum + ?, but no prof yet.  A great example would be clash of heros

Can someone upload 2 say with few seconds difference or maybe a money difference.

The Save keeps tracks of lengths usually before important area.

EDIT:

Pointer = DNDPlayerPawn (ASCII) or 444E44506C617965725061776E (HEX)

Pointer + 43 = Gold

Can someone mod the gold and see if it corrupts.
