Ending the week of August 17th, Grand Theft Auto V hit it's 1.5 million pre-order mark in the United States for both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Even then the game was (and still is) the most pre-ordered game in the United States, despite the fact that Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts have pre-order bundles and deals.
And although the game has already reached a whopping 2 million in pre-orders (roughly, estimated), it's more than likely to go up a whole lot more since the official Grand Theft Auto V trailer made it's debut on the internet today.
The chart above depicts week-by-week pre-order data running up to the official launch date, which is September 17th. You can tell in no place is the chart going down for either the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360, so its future is looking brighter than it's already shown.
Industry analysts predict that the game will get 20 million copies sold with no problem, which would make it the most sold game of all time. What do you think? And what're you looking most forward to in Grand Theft Auto V?
