Same here,,,just started yesterday...was on Hardcore and just started Infernal...got to the first witch and kill then freeze,,,I think it might have to do with the overmoded stats...I thought that it was cause I just upgraded to lvl 60 gear...started a new character and got to Act 2 and going okay then in the first waterway/sewer level walk three steps and freeze....same place 3 times...gonna try a fresh no mode and see how far I get...

I didn't mod my save but I did used the all in one save from this site. So maybe that's the issue. I still have my old save. Question, can I take a character out of someone's save and place him/her on my save?

i also had this problem, i did some research for a couple of hours and what i found was the game cannot handle too much save data, meaning all the modded weapons and armour that is on your account along with all the other items, just puts too much stress on the save load, what i did was transfered most of my modded gear that i dont use onto another account of mine and now no more freezing at all!!!!! hope this helps for you guys it did for me.
