Ok, I am trying to use the basic free editor and I am stuck. I copied my save from my PS3 and I don't have a d3save file. By reading through the posts it seems like I need another program to create said d3save file. What program and where do I get it?

You'll need PS3 brutoforce savedata manager.
Download Brutofoce Savedata Manager

What i have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
Color me stupid but I am still not following the process. I am new to modding saves. I have only modded 2 other games and that was Borderlands 1 via WillowTree and GTA 4 via RedEye X32. I am just interested in using Jappi88's free editor to modify my stats and gold, not inventory. Can someone please give me a step by step tutorial? Thank you in advance.

Ok I'm throwing in the towel and asking for some help. I have tried multiple times and ways to get my save file to Mod. I have the latest version of BF and have decrypted my file and I still get the same error. It sems like I am not getting the file to decrypt. I am including my save file and a screen shoot of the editor error message I receive.
Can someone please help shed a little light on what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks so much for any and all help it would be greatly appreciated.
there is no need to post this, because it doesnt work with TU 2 and higher.
Stats are not editable after the second Title Update.
i will look for you now.
Edit : Works just like it should.
this is what i did :
I have Brute Force Savedata Version 4.2.2.
loaded the directory into BF.
Selected all the files listed inside the listview.
Right click >> Decrypt PFD
If the items are green means they are decrypted.
Finally you can drag and drop de decrypted directory into the db3 tool, and it should load just fine.
