- Here's the easy way. Go into your save and modify your stash or a character's inventory, from there, add any item into the stash/inventory. Then, after adding the item, go edit it's item ID and just put the new weapon's item ID there. You can now either hit save and load into the game OR you can trigger the switch by adding another item into the stash/inventory. After the trigger, you will find an item that has the ? Icon and says "unknown" in both item type and name. Click that item, then hit "Add to DB" button on it's properties. Make sure you enter the correct properties. The name is self explanatory and is provided in my post, and those weapons are "MainHand".
- Some things to note, you can't delete affixes and add some at the same time, the save will corrupt. You have to delete affixes, load it in game, pull it back into the editor and add affixes. You can freely add or delete items from stash/inventory without having to worry about it corrupting, or at the very least, I haven't had that problem.
- Update: The Arcane, Holy, Poison, Fire, Cold, and Lightning, Min/Max damages are effectively cut in half when ported to ROS. Most of the percentages remain intact.
- As a reminder to readers, the editor works in the latest patch of Diablo 3,
not Reaper of Souls.
