Hey this might sound stupid but is this for the ps3? It's not recognizing my savefile... and I've been using NoVa's release, but I found I couldn't max my "Grade", this save editor has that option and farming Grade is really, REALLY not fun. I extracted the savefile using horizon as usual and attempted to open it with the editor, but no dice... please help?

If it's not working for your PS3 save, then it doesn't work. This Editor was made for the Xbox 360 version of the game, not the PS3 version...

I'm using an xbox360 savefile.
It's not loading in the savefile editor.

This is what I do:
Move file from Xbox to USB> Open with Horizon> Extract (save.dat)
run ToV Save Editor> "Open" Savefile.dat>

An error occurred while attempting to open the specified save;

The specified file is not a valid save.


Why isn't this xbox360 savefile editor, editing my xbox360 savefile?!

Because you're not doing it right... You need to extract and open the save container file named TLSaveData0_00 etc, do NOT extract any files from the container.

Solved it. For anyone else with this problem, horizon has an option to extract the selected file in the device explorer on the right, choose your saved game, in this case "TOV_02" and extract.

I downloaded this so I could add myself some Grade,(ended up adding other stuff too...) but when I tried to do change how much Grade I had it erased ALL of the grade I had from playing and reset it to 0. That's so not cool. I tried adding in the exact amount for the stuff I wanted and it still says 0.
