First up, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. This Game Boy Color classic, which adding color and a new dungeon to the Game Boy original Link's Awakening, is being re-released today through the Nintendo 3DS eShop. It'll go live in the Shop before the end of the day, so look for it and download it immediately.

Next up, another download announcement -- a new version of The Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords was promised for later this year. Nintendo called the game a DSiWare title, meaning it should be available for DSi, DSi XL and Nintendo 3DS owners when it arrives. The Four Swords, if you're not familiar is a multiplayer Zelda design that we've previously seen on the Game Boy Advance and the GameCube. This edition will be all-new, and it'll be offered totally for free.

Nintendo reaffirmed release dates this year for retail products The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Wii. We knew about those, though, so nothing new there.

Another new thing, though, was the announcement of a Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary symphony concert series. It'll being coming to theatrical venues around the world later this year. If you've never attended something like it, get yourself something nice to wear and plan to go. Should be a very swanky affair.

Finally, Nintendo's Wii U announcement came alongside new footage of a Legend of Zelda scene running in full HD. It hasn't been confirmed to be a game in development, and it certainly wouldn't be out in 2011 even if it was, but hey, it was more Zelda on this Zelda-packed day.
