True unless you update after you fix up your save how you want it & play online then just un-corrupt it before you turn on your console every time & keep your un updated save as a template to un-corrupt with or a save after the TU1 but before 1.03 calibration update.
Thats a major pain in arse if you ask me but if you wanna play online all the time it will work.

[QUOTE=matthewjohn;250950]Is there anyway of telling your soul history in the game
Yes its in the very top right hand corner of your player stats altho it says soul memory. Could be two different things but I believe its the same
On mine even with a modded save maxed souls it still has my original soul count earned ingame.

not to get off topic but any one have the Id's for the 5 giant souls?

Based on what soul memory is trying to achieve by preventing the utter molestation of noob players, could it be in the gpd? A pro player even with a new character still retains their skill, some people actually derive enjoyment from soul level 1 playthroughs.
I'm wondering though if it's worth tampering with that, while we don't really have a definite code of ethics around here, we don't intentionally fuck with online play, it just happens, alot.
Dragons dogma is a fine example, yes the pawns were stamped with the site name, yes people got butthurt and thus it become a convention to keep doing it because their tears were delicious.
So what we know, souls are stored in 3 different variables, only one deals with current souls, now unless Junior1 completely disregarded the other 2 values and thus has witnessed the obvious result of which, this would imply there is a 4th outside the confines of the save slot. Though others have been screwing with the values and have obtained varying results.
The calibration corruption is rather fascinating.
