Of course I manually overwrite values and I always rehash/resign. I managed to do it successfully just now, with the only difference being that I edited hard leather armor instead of hollow soldier armor and I used Horizon to rehash/resign instead of another tool I was using. I guess using Horizon is the way to go then.

So I noticed in a earlier post that someone replaced the way a certain sword was used in the User_data15 file. Is there anyway to do that again with the Pursuers Ultra Greatsword? So you can wield it like a regular sword or Rapier?

I just found out how to give the non droppable items to people :) You just drop something that can be dropped, like a Human Effigy. Then in Hex Workshop at 0x11F0C you'll see the Item ID for the Item you dropped. Just change that to an ID of an Item that can't be dropped, like the Titanite Shards. You can also change the Quantity of the item on the floor to 99 by going 5 bytes further than the Item ID. Then just load the save and summon your friend. They can now pick up the Item :D
Noob alert,
I was trying to edit the stones required for infusing special powers using a table posted earlier in this thread. I am using hex workshop, but I cannot find the offset value. Is it because I do not have at least of of the items? I am using Idlehands88's Modded Start save from his first post.
Faintstone 03A3B3A0
Boltstone 03A3DAB0
Firedrake Stone 03A401C0
Darknight Stone 03A428D0
Poison Stone 03A44FE0
Bleed Stone 03A476F0
Raw Stone 03A4C510
Magic Stone 03A4EC20
Old Mundane Stone 03A51330
Palestone 03A53A40
Also, Idlehands88, did you edit the value of for example Titanite Shard to Int32 of 1883153155? In my item box in the right they show up as 999 (maybe because of a limit) however they keep going back to 999 again whenever I move some to my useable items side to the left. Will this continue until the limit of 1883153155 is reached?
I am just confirming this to know if I am actually understanding this correctly.
Thanks!
Can you explain on how to do this for the noobs?
