Pure Chess (Ripstone, $7.99) — Arriving perhaps a little later than expected, this title — developed by VooFoo — arrives with some attractive HD visuals on the Wii U, as well as multiple control schemes, modes and tutorials. Most exciting is the news that online matches will be cross-platform between Wii U, 3DS, Android and iOS players, greatly opening up a world of opponents.

Volleyball (Nintendo, $4.99) — Nintendo continues to release its basic sports range from the NES era onto its shiny new system, this time taking to the court for some Volleyball shenanigans.

Pokémon Battle Trozei (Nintendo, $7.99) — Known as Pokémon Link: Battle! in Europe, this incorporates match-3 puzzling with battles and the age-old activity of collecting pocket monsters. With four player co-op and all of the Pokémon included, including those from X & Y, this is a fun hybrid experience perfectly suited to 3DS-owning 'mon fans.

Pure Chess (Ripstone, $7.99) — This is the same title as that on the Wii U, albeit substituting HD visuals for autostereoscopic 3D.

Yumi's Odd Odyssey (Natsume, $29.99) — This is the first time the puzzle-platform series has made it outside of Japan, with the eShop providing a localised outlet for Natsume.
