Particularly with things that are "labor of love," unexpected errors are very likely. When I make things, I don't even announce a release until it's already released. I may say it's in the works... but never an ETA. Life happens. I have a 9-to-5 job, I go to the gym 1-2 hours a day... not a lot of hours in the day to identify a problem, resolve it, and maintain a deadline on something that won't net any real profit. I think he will get there as well -- I'm just not going to check until next Monday. At this stage in its creation, if he's just finding this problem, there's no telling how much he'll have to tear down the program to identify and resolve the issue.
If it were me, I'd release the incomplete version and ask devs like yourself to assist me with resolving the issue. That's a hell of a lot more efficient than doing it myself, especially if I can't readily identify the problem.
But to each his own. I'll check next Monday.
Guys, we need to remember that this is the person who was the first one to release a Diablo 3 editor that worked wonderfully, as well as the most popular Dark Souls 1 editor, which also worked like a charm. So I think he deserves better than us harassing this thread saying who would do what, and give him some time. FromSoft is famous for making their games difficult, both playwise and coding-wise. Hiccups happen, and I for one am just happy that Jappi is working on a Dark Souls 2 editor at all. Jappi could just as easily say "I don't want to do this anymore." and not complete it at all. The ETA was an idea of about when it would be released. Not the actual release date. Keep at it Jappi. Love your work and dedication.
The thread has been cleaned stay on topic if you want to have a civilized argument do so in private
Thanks original Boss.
The project had been canceled, release = never.
Banzai!
Programming is 10% science, 20% ingenuity, and 70% getting the ingenuity to work with the science.

I really hope you're joking!
