The PC version has cheats already built in although it's nothing in depth, but mostly has everything you would really need to cheat :)

True. FFXED allows you to add Key Items though. (Al Bhed volumes for example, which is what a lot of people want). As well as the option to finish up all the annoying minigames like the Lightning dodges, etc. Plus the ability to customize all your equipments freely. ;)

Also, I just updated the guide again, and removed an entire step from it. Turns out the template file is no longer necessary. It's just some junk data in the save file itself that caused FFXED to not recognize the file. It's just a matter of deleting that part of the save in the hex editor, and then afterwards FFXED will recognize the file and allow it to be opened. Then just fix the checksum again with the other tool and done. Saves a bit of extra time. :)

Re: How to use FFXED save editor for FFX HD

Hi, do you remember me from today, some time before you changed this guide? Yeah, I came from that Steam forum where you told me I copied your guide. That forum where I showed you how my Guide was different and how your guide had unnecesary steps. That forum where you deleted all your comments but I have most backed up because I knew you would regret it and you would rip MY guide off.

How curious this is that you suddenly today realised that you had extra unnecesary steps...
Who is copying who without crediting?

Oh and one more thing: you came all crazy claiming that I copied this guide of yours (which is not true) and guess what, not even this guide is yours, you just copyied it, according to Steam user Rainy:
Rainy 15 de mayo a las 7:17 [<- This is spanish for 15th of May]
Fyi the original guide is not written by Zirothos.here is the actual original post: http://bbs.duowan.com/thread-36728729-1-1.html

which i translated and posted at bruteforce savadata forum ( http://bruteforcesavedata.forumms.ne...l-fantasy-x-hd)
Yep, anyone can see MY original guide here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=685356413

As you can see, it was MY idea to remove the last part of the file to be able to use it. You just ripped it off without crediting me. And you insisted that MemorySumChecker didn't change the files, but when you finally realized that I was right you deleted all your messages and voila! now you say:

I tried both of you're methods and they work great! You're updated version is even better, but I'll keep old one just in case.

    Thank you very much!

No idea who you were talking to, but whoever you were dealing with on Steam Forums wasn't me lol.
In fact I never even saw any guide on the Steam section for it. The guide I posted here was based of the original guide in this topic. Someone else told me about the junk data on another site, that's why I adjusted that part.

If that part originally belonged to you then I have no problem crediting you.

Yeah, then I must buy that the exact same day I release my guide, wich improves what people have been doing for 2 years, this guy comes and I explain him what was wrong with this method, exactly at that same hour you came up with an idea that you didn't have in the past 2 years, and what a coincidence, the idea is exactly the same as the one I published 24 hours ago. What a coincidence. Sure.

But yeah, the method is original of me, so If you want to do the things with honour, you should give credit to me (and link in the credit to my guide, obviously: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=685356413

Re: How to use FFXED save editor for FFX HD

Again, I based my guide on the original post in this thread. (Which was actually posted long before you posted yours).
The only thing I UPDATED afterwards is the junk data part to skip that step, which was given to me by another person (who apparently got it from your guide instead then).

I saw the posts on the steam forums just now, and that most definitely wasn't me accusing you of stealing the guide. I got better things to do then argue over a guide lol.

If you still feel like accusing me that's fine and all, but at least make sure you are 100% correct on the matter if you want to do so.
For starters, if I was really that guy on the steam forum I wouldn't be offering to credit you after all that.

Either way, I linked your guide and provided the credit. Hopefully that will make you believe me on the matter.

It's hard for me to admit it, but I'm starting to believe you.

If it's true that someone told you in some other site, I would like to know who and where. Because probably that one was the guy...
