TITANFALL WON'T COME TO XBOX 360 GAMES ON DEMAND

Titanfall publisher EA has nixed potential plans to bring the robot-infested shooter to the Xbox 360 as a digital download. A new entry on EA's help site explains the decision:

"After extensive testing, we felt that [a digital release] simply did not represent the true Titanfall experience and it was decided not to release a Games on Demand version. We hope players understand this decision was all about quality and making sure you get the best Titanfall experience."

While this is disappointing news for anyone counting down the ongoing death of physical media, we will remind would-be mech pilots that the disc-based version of the game has been performing admirably in our ongoing State of Service tests. Our latest report notes minor, isolated issues in the PC version, but otherwise all of the game's servers appear to be chugging along nicely.

no.. and all i'm saying is there are soooooo many better games that deserve the kind of hype this "titan fall" CoD clone is getting, and get this, they can actually be played "offline!" how cool is that??? i'm sorry for sounding like a dick but every gaming site on the internet its all you read about.. titan fall.. titan SH!T.. people need to give it a rest, there is nothing special about this game i assure you say for the fact it doesn't have a campaign which just makes it ultra suck.

Don't care about the game, but I am confused by their logic. You can buy it on a retail disk for the 360, but downloading it to the HDD on your console will not give you adequate performance? Since most games run faster off HDD that doesn't appear to make any sense. What am I missing?
