GTA 5 double RP event underway, High Life update coming this month

Rockstar are offering Double GTA$ and double RP on GTA Online for today and tomorrow, organised and highly disorganised crime enthusiasts. Clear your calendars, Los Santos and its citizens simply aren't going to terrorise themselves.

"Beef up your bank balance and boost your notoriety in Grand Theft Auto Online this weekend to prepare for the new apartments, lavish cars and amenities coming in the High Life Update coming this month," reads the post on Rockstar's Newswire. "Starting today and ending tomorrow night at midnight Eastern, all Jobs and activities in GTA Online will earn you twice as much GTA$ and RP including:

Races
Deathmatch & Team Deathmatch
Capture
Last Team Standing
Survival
Missions
Parachuting
Gang Attacks
Hold Ups
Import Export
Losing Wanted Level."

So if you were saving up for anything in particular or wanted to strive for a certain level, this would be a good weekend to put some time in.

The High Life update was previously promised by Rockstar as coming this spring, along with the hugely anticipated Heists DLC. That's gotta be the next one, right? Mind you, still no mention of that rumoured jetpack...

Yet another dlc coming up with what I can only guess will be very expensive stuff, but still no heists....
