This may not be an issue for people with Jtag consoles, not sure. Apparently recently Xbox changed how it formats a flash drive so that the contents are unreadable and therefore can't be modified. I found a workaround, just format the drive in FAT on your desktop or notebook. Problem solved. I did this on my Macbook and it works like a charm.
