One of the universal truths of the fighting-game world is that at all times, someone out there is better than you, no exceptions.

It's a sure thing, so much so that this cosmic natural law even applies to games that aren't even out yet, as is evident by the SoulCalibur 5 Astaroth v. Ivy match video above.

It's nice to know that even though the bright, cheerful announcer we've come to know and love has been replaced by a gruff, melancholy fellow, matches are still followed by confusing and non-sequitur one-liners about justice and victory. Bah! Im no suprised -_- Its always were the same thing for me "Bought a game, played it like for 30+ hours, thought im a master, went online, PWND OVER 9000 times by some teenager, rage quit" >_> U cant normally play fighting games online nowadays

I've always faired quite well with online fighting games, barely beaten on Tekken 6 or Street Fighter. There is one exception however....Dead Or Alive 4.

Could I hell as like beat anybody on this game, I would just get bounced up and down the screen repeatedly while some cocky teenager jeers at me down the microphone. If it wasn't for the fact that its my mates 360 I go online with (and his controller more to the point) there would have been rage quits a plenty.

I did beat some guy on there once, I was chuffed to bits. It kind of spoiled the moment though when he reported me for aggressive behaviour. Not fair really.
