lol Don't be sad. You really aren't missing anything on Day 1.
I think the game is OK but I think its a Button-Mashers Wet Dream. (Saying that, being an avid fighting game player: RB2, BlazBlue, Soul Calibur, Tekken, etc...)
You auto-chain combos by mashing the X or Y, you only have 2 Supers and the Timed Single Button Sequence is VERY delayed with is probably the only thing that takes skill, practicing how delayed exactly that is to hit the B button in the middle of the circle.
When RB2 you have 4 Equipped Supers, you have a wide variety of combos you can pull off, fighting engine was very fluid. Yea, you had some n00bs that would spam, but they could be easily beat with skill or counter-spam with spam of your own.
All In all, I do like how they tried to integrate Budokai fighting engine and Tenkaichi fighting engine in one game, the Create a Character, Environmental damage, and the in-battle interactive cut-scenes.
They just need to make it more fighting and less in-battle interactive cut-scenes (RPS - Rock, Paper, Scissors), fix that Button delay, and make the fighting a little more fluid. Then I would be a great happy camper.
Personal final Verdict: I'll keep the game, I'll play it and try to have more fun (then the fun that I already have playing it) but I'n not getting rid of my RB2 and I'll probably be on that more. I dunno maybe some DLC and Patches to fix some issues might change my mind a little. I do still like it tho.....its just not challenging enough (IMO).
