It said the door was locked, I didn't get the key from the body, although my character made a motion like he picked up the key, resulting in a game breaking glitch. I tried leaving via Bonfire, you can't, thus leaving your character in jail forever.

    I also came across another bug, adding weapons/armor. I added Logan's Hat with Durability of just 300 into my inventory, when I put it on it said "Armor Broken!" Went to go get it repair, infinite loop of trying to repair that and other weapons, such as Moonlight Greatsword+5. You can never repair these weapons even with repair powder and the spell Repair itself won't fix this, it's a bug that perma-breaks your weapons/armor.

    Jappi you'd do well to fix these ASAP if not, players will end up not being able to progress forward due to the Mod-Tool's flaws. Please address these problems when you decide to update to 2.4. Thanks - Xenoith

    P.S. - Still a wonderful mod-tool, we all appreciate your hard work, just pointing these out for future production and helpfulness to make a perfect mod-tool. I will be making a few videos to show these issues are not indeed just mere sheep-talk and that they are in fact real. I will post them tomarrow sometime in the afternoon after I get out of college.     Appreciate the feedback and here are some comments based on it.

    The White Soapstone issue is one that I mentioned earlier in the thread - the ID is set to 65 but should be 64.

    Regarding the infinite loop, the official durability value has been added to the text files so there should be no reason to get that wrong in the future and it should be a simple job of fixing your current durability by re-editing the file.

    A couple of general comments about the other issues.

    Firstly, there's no way to make something like this truly bulletproof/crashproof/bugproof because of the nature of the reverse engineering that is going on. Certainly, there are many items in the game that are more complicated than just an item in the Inventory. As a result, the user needs to be potentially aware of these. For example, the Peculiar Doll is probably linked with returning to the start and/or the killing of the Stray Demon so unless both of these are done, it's not a valid item. Similarly, with the Depths key, this is probably linked with the killing of the Capra Demon. The only way to realistically do anything about this, is to remove the specialist items from the text files. I've resisted adding specialist items for this reason.

    Secondly, I would expect that if you edited the game save and removed those items (or changed them to something else), it should return to normal. For example, if you remove the fake Doll from your inventory, does it then work with the real Doll ?

    Like bigboots said... there is not much i can do about how the game reacts when adding items.

    The tool is doing wat it should do...
    About the attuning skills.. it work for me everytime i add spellse.. either with magic.txt or spells.txt , both are the same.
    i tried with the begining of the game( first bonfire ) or later in game.
    If anyone experiening problems, then upload you save so that i can look into it.

    i added the doll as i could not be bothered to go back to the start to get it once i was in anor londo. i also found that certain items although added into inventory do not become active untill the point in the game where they should be. i also had a clitch in the dukes archive where i got the key legit and then it disapeared and i then had to add it the editor works well but you have to bear these small problems it does not spoil the game though.

    So I was not the only one with these issues, I am glad I am not alone. I have uploaded the first part of my video on youtube to show me playing Dark Souls and modding it, unfortunately youtube is a bunch of twats and won't let me upload my 13:00 minute video so that is going to have to be cut in parts, making it more of a damn chore to upload them..... Here is the first part. Altogether I should have about 4 videos. This post will be uploaded with other videos so please bare with the size.

    I havent yet encountered too many problems with the editor trying to watch your videos but youtube is being gay...anyone else having said troubles?

    ok , ive seen your clip... and noticed some bugs on the tool -.-...my bad...
    about your problem :
    upload me your save , i'm going to do some tests , and will try to fix some problem you have.



    olso if anyone is intressted in making a Tut (either text of video) , would be much apriciated.
    will credit those for providing the tut, and will add the tut to the tool.

    i've been very bussy lately to even work on this project... with not manny time , i'm unable to properly test everything.
    it should be all fixed in time.

    P.S: Xenoith... you know you can just use the usb function build into the tool? .... to get your save from usb device , instead of using a third party app.

    I'll make the TUT if you need me to really do so. I just need to learn how to actually record on the PC, that hypercam thing or whatever so I am not forced to use my shitty iPod cam. I love this mod-tool that is why I am pushing so hard. Sorry if I am a pain in the ass, just trying to contribute the best I can, I've never helped out with much in my life. Trying to do it with this mod-tool seems like the right thing to do, since it is something I like. So what should we see in 2.4?
