if u read the first post it says do not extract savegame.dat u need to extract a save like skyrim .exs

Thats exactly what Im doing, but I always get the same amount of gold back that I put in before. Does this only work with barrels in special areas, how should the programm know which barrel to mod, when there are 5 in my area? And im not the only with the same problem, look at the posts before!!!! I used several modingtools from this great forum and never had a prob, just that one. Another thing that I found out is, when I open my exs file with the modingtool, it never shows the correct number of gold I put in, I tried 24, 1266 and 1500 gold, always same result!!!

It just matters if someone can find it in the save file.... If there isn't an offset for it then it wont be possible to mod it with a normal mod tool.

If the only thing you do is mod items by putting them into a barrel then the only other way to mod Skyrim is to get the PC version then use the console command to mod it.
