I'm not planning on developing a modding tool for this game, just get rid of the constant "dd.exe is not running... Help please!!!"
and for the people who do have the modding down to an "art" just make it a bit more simplistic. That's all.

The post u said 2 or 3 up about you not being a leach "I never said that". Also if you made it why vote yes just use it for yourself people should type it in if they were smart you could use the same location over and over again unless they cant copy and paste then they just need to improve their typing skills :) repetition is good practice plus personally i dont want RANDOMS most being little kids modding this game all that is probably stopping them is the extracting and re injecting using Fairchild's amazing Resigner
so if you decide to release this which i hope you do not the game will be flooded with people who have mods and they will act all cool and "pardon my language" Badass and be a straight up asshole because they think there top shit.
Well anyway that is my rant make the right decision also for the people who send you messages just block them very easy then you can play in peace.

Why did i vote "yes"- If i weren't willing to releaese this why on earth would i even post a thread asking the community if i should release it.... think about that...

To be quite honest regardless if i release this or not there are more randoms starting to mod dungeon defenders be cause they bug there friends that know how and learn from them.... so realizing that all it would take is someone bugging someone else long enough to tell them how to launch dd.exe...
Besides, if I were to let you use it a couple days I'm pretty sure you would even say it was built well and possible change your view on the subject. its not like the compression toolkit is the hardest part... the actually hex editing is the hardest part to a beginner.
Borderlands became a horrible game when willow tree had EVERYTHING spelled out for them with the simple click of the button (to edit everything about your weapons/characters...)

And you shouldn't be intimidated by randoms that think there "all that" its easy to talk down a random that has no idea what they really did to make the weapons/equipment, and to be honest sometimes enjoyable! Haha

Ps- we are part of a modding community, not a hoarding community

Re: Dungeon Defenders- Should I upload a simple Interface for compressing/decompressi

I think you should because it will allow more people to figure out how to mod this game, thus removing more customers from those filthy whores that think they can get away with selling in-game content for out-of-game content. In fact, I feel like bugging the other users to update their tutorials, or have them link to godslam's tutorial on how to get started. It is very well organized, and he makes it obvious that he knows proper English. There was a post with a couple video tutorials as well, but that guy did a horrible job.

Just remember... the easier it is to mod the game, the less likely people will trade in-game content for out-of-game content. Removing those whores is more important than any other opinions I have seen on this forum so far. It's illegal and ridiculous. In fact, I think you should just drop the poll, edit your first post to have it ready, and add the three links on the bottom of my post.

I am more then willing to walk you all through how to do this on XBox Live any time you see me online. Send me a message and I will reply as soon as I get online. I will even discuss how to do it in a party if you'd like. Modding is fun, and the learning process will be useful in the future.

and have decided (with the approval from the community [although minimal]) to release the interface,
Fool the game is going to get destroyed faster then borderlands if u do this u know that right.
People should be able to do this without this easy way out W.E Mission accomplished for demolishing this game
    Congrats to you

You don't think they are going to be patching anything with the upcoming DLC weapons/pets/modding patch that is upcoming with in Jan/Feb

I'm not releasing a modding tool that spells out everything, you still need to be able to understand hex coding be smart enough to actually edit save and not freeze on load....

I understand where you are coming from but...
THE GAME IS ALREADY DESTROYED.... Go look at the SOB's selling weapons for Microsoft Points... and the Leaderboards, they are ALREADY ruined. So stop complaining...
